lyrics

have you ever imagined life,
without God in the picture?
how many things would change,
and how many things would differ?

No savior, no son that died for us,
would that be easier to take?
then knowing a God sent his only son,
and no he's not a fake.

How ignorant must we truly be,
to not want to put our trust -
into someone who really and truly,
gives a care for us.

I sometimes think to myself,
why are we the way we are?
so selfish, and hateful and blind to the fact,
that we've fallen oh so far.

That what God wants more than anything else,
is for us to understand?
is that salvation can only be found,
in the palms of his son's hands.

How ignorant must we truly be,
to not want his perfect love?
that our lives are fine just the way they are,
so we blind ourselves to the truth and shove -
through the busy streets, and crowded towns,
with white and heartless eyes!
ignoring and abandoning the very same people,
who need Jesus in their lives -
more than anything else in this entire world,
it's not that hard to see.
That he came, he loved, and he died for us,
so we could truly be set free.

Have you ever imagined life,
without Jesus in the picture?
how many things would change,
how many things would differ?

I'm glad I have a savior,
who died on the cross for me.
So I could be with him,
and truly be set free.
